Tiger Woods sizes up Barack Obama
I'm not necessarily a big Barack Obama supporter, but I am a big Tiger Woods fan. I came across this photo this morning and took one look at Tigers face to me it embodied an important sense of who Tiger is.That calm, focused, almost solemn look is the same look of concentrated satisfaction that Tiger has when he stands over a 215 long iron shot into a narrow green on an 18th fairway with 1 shot lead. It's that moment of belief. I can do it.
I can do anything if I were to want it.
He looks at Barack here and to me is thinking... If I had taken that path...I could to that. What I like best, is that Tiger believes this with inner confidence, not ego, Tiger is no poser... As for the other guy... well, let's just hope for the best.

These are both great men, and tremendous achievers. I love seeing them together in pictures because it seems to me as if these emphasize the symbol they represent, each in his own way.
Your comment is interesting but I fear it is inaccurate. The solemn look he has on the picture is one of respect, certainly not one of comparison. He is not thinking he could be in Barrack's shoes, he is just endorsing the attitude you are supposed to have when next to the (already) huge monument that Obama is.
On another note, I agree, let's hope for the best for Obama...
HA! You idiot. Eat your words.
Actually, Barack was saying to Tiger: "Seriously...I have screwed more people than you..."
No doubts I was decieved by Tiger. I believed he was what he presented. A guy who mastered golf and life. I was certainly wrong there.
I was also wrong about his ego, now we all have an ego, but his has clearly dominated his thinking. It really is all a shame, but not surprising I suppose wealth and fame have corrupted many many people throughout history.
I'll still be amazed at his towering 240 yard 4 iron fade into a tucked pin, but will never cheer for him to win.
